Christians refuse to tip server because he’s ‘a fag’

Stories like this break my heart.

A 20-year-old waiter provided exemplary service at an Overland Park Italian restaurant, but his anti-gay customers refused to tip him because of his sexual orientation.

How did the server know the reason why the Christians refused to tip? Because they left a note. Of course, they did, right? Because they couldn’t simply be mean, they had to give their ugly actions intentions.

Thank you for your service, it was excellent. That being said, we cannot in good conscience tip you, for your homosexual lifestyle is an affront to GOD. (Homosexual slur) do not share in the wealth of GOD, and you will not share in ours… We hope you will see the tip your (homosexual slur) choices made you lose out on, and plan accordingly. It is never too late for GOD’s love, but none shall be spared for (homosexual slur). May GOD have mercy on you.

The whole story can be found here.

Found at Christian Nightmares.

Viagra is for the treatment of inability to get or keep an erection and similar states when erection is of low quality. When you buy remedies like cialis from canada you should know about cialis online canada. It may have a lot of brands, but only one ATC Code. Sexual health is an substantial part of a man’s life, no matter his age etc.

  • Wow that is one way to show ‘the love’ of Christ to others… This leaves me feeling sad, when will people realize that Christ cannot be used to justify hate? He calls us to love our neighbours as ourselves.

“Don’t judge me because I sin differently than you” We are all sinners, and we all need the redeeming blood of Christ and an outpouring of His mercy on our lives. PERIOD. All sin is equal in the eyes of God. When will people understand that?

I could go on and make this into an essay but I will digress, and wonder at the state of humanity, and the lack of love in the hearts of so many of Christ’s self proclaimed followers…

  • Why were they willing to be served by him in the first place if they weren’t willing to pay him for the service? They felt affronted (on God’s behalf) when it came time to tip but not when they sat down and let him wait on them? Kind of wondering what these people do for a living and if they feel that the fact that their clients, bosses or customers pay them entitles those customers to make a commentary on their lifestyles? Also, just curious, how did they know their server was gay? Did the guy say, “Would you like desert this evening and by the way, I’m romantically attracted to people of my own gender?”

  • If true, it’s unconscionable and those ‘Christians’ will have to answer to God and it may not be pretty.

These are the “Christians” who are making it difficult for others to know God.

  • If should be noted that overland park (if this is KS) is just a little over an hour away from Westboro Baptist Chruch

I have a tip for them… being judgmental is a sin, it’s NOT their place to judge anyone according to their GOD! These costumers should be thankful their god is forgiving or they would find themselves [according to their own beliefs] in hell. BTW, being honest about who you love is NEVER a sin, it’s a simple truth, if you were to lie about it, then it would be a sin. I can say this much without any doubt…. “god does not hate anyone for loving.” Also, “god doesn’t want people to judge each other.” Maybe these so called “Christians” should spend a little more time comprehending their beliefs then using them as an excuse to be jerks.

Wow, yeah, this is pretty awful. Jesus didn’t say that people would know us by our hate, but by our love. It’s our job as Christians to love sinners. “While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” We need to remember this if we are going to reach people for Christ. It’s Jesus’ job to judge people, not ours. I have several gay friends/acquaintances, and they all know where I stand regarding their lifestyle but they know that I love and care for them. This is how we reach people. Love them, let Jesus do the rest. Especially the judging.

Can you change the title to read “FAKE CHRISTIANS REFUSE TO TIP SERVER BECAUSE HE’S ‘A FAG’? May God have mercy on the people that actually wrote that.

Most people who are ensnared in that lifestyle have dealt with an incredible amount of hurt, pain, and confusion. So this note just enhances that confusion all the more. Not by might, not by power, but by my spirit says the Lord. He is the spirit of love!!! What would have happened if these people gave him a $50.00 bill and kept coming in asking for his station? What if they would have invited him to small group or a non-threatening Christian event, or just an event with a bunch of level headed loving Christians? People battling same sex relationships need to know they can fall into the hands of a God whose heart is to heal and love. I say to Christian who get a server they suspect may live a lifestyle less pleasing to God, tip more!!! Go back to the restaurant and keep asking for that persons station! Favor them! Love them as Christ would. Love opens the door when the conviction finally hits them. I have known a lot of homosexuals. I have prayed about witnessing to them. The Lord told me to pray for them and love them. Finally one of them confided in me! He said, I get drunk a lot. I expressed concern for his health! I did not judge. He said, I have to get drunk. I am a gay man, and that carries a lot of pain. I gotta numb it somehow. Many people attracted to the same sex have no loving Christian they can go to once they may want to investigate the things of God. I have known numerous gay people. Being involved in theater, pageants, ballet, restaurant business, etc… LOVE THEM!!!!!!!! PRAY for them. You don’t have the right to share the salvation message until you have loved them!!!

Mean people will find any justification to be mean: falling back on religion is an easy one because the Bible is so open to interpretation. The Bible was used to both justify slavery and to repudiate it. The Bible contains passages more objectionable than any Christian-banned/Christian-burned book, yet it also contains beauty and majesty, and sets the stage for the principles of humanism. Just my opinion.

  • Sad…why again am i trying to stay in the faith?

  • StephanieLynn75 says:

Things like this make me just want to distance myself from the Christian faith altogether. I’m walking a fine line as it is. I hope people who see this know we’re not all like that, and there is plenty of love for everyone. Still, that being said…it makes it harder and harder to stay with this faith when I see things like this. Christians are some of the most intolerant people in the world, yet will be the first to complain when their faith isn’t appropriately “tolerated.”
