This makes me sad. While some might laugh and make light of this man’s belief (and trust me, that was my first reaction, too), I’ve come to see situations like this one in a much different light of late. I refuse to believe this man is dumb or simple minded.

Many of us have probably done similar things. Maybe not because of 666. But likely, we made similar choices based on something that we believe and ignoring the reality that is in front of us (or all around us).
In the end, 666 is just a number. But this man is now without a job. And that’s not just a harmless reality. That sucks.
