Well, lots of folks thought that Bush stole the 2000 election with help from his brother. That should even it out, right? Cheating on both sides?

One of these days, I’ll figure out what god Joyner worships, and what “gospel” he preaches, but it hasn’t happened yet.

His answer to the question, “did the Lord allow this?” Shows his poor theology…His first answer is yes, the Lord allowed it. But then he slips and begins to say the enemy allowed…Like many Christians in the US he is putting salvation into the hands of the leader of the country and how the people voted. If we were Christian and God was going to bless, Romney would have won. But God allowed but the enemy allowed–God allowed Obama….But Christians were never suppose to bring the Kingdom through the governments of this world. We are suppose to be the Kingdom of God under whatever government or economic system we are part of. And yes, my faith affects my votes–I cannot simply back one party over the other because neither is the Kingdom….And so the only question we ask is how do we praise our God fully in exile–because we are in exile no matter who is president–Bush, Clinton, Obama, who ever is in power–we are always in exile until the Kingdom comes in full.Joyner is not preaching the Gospel of Christ. He is preaching the American Gospel.

Sometimes, just by listening to people talk, you can tell if they’re sitting in their library or in front of a painted wall mural.
