yesterday my life flashed before my eyes…

I saw my life as a baby. I was clothed, diapered, and had a father who enjoyed holding me. I was cute kid.

I saw my life as a five-year-old. That was the year I started attending a new church in a nice building. I thought drumbeats were satanic.
I saw my life as an eight-year old, and at the time, my biggest worry was missing Scooby Do reruns….

I saw my life as a 13-year-old. That was the year my family went on vacation to Disney World…

Then, I saw my life at the “legal drinking age.” Though I’d never been abducted or shot or been taught to kill anybody, I do remember having a really hard time finding a summer job.
I saw my parents, too. Neither of them were dying of HIV-AIDS, but my father was on medication for high-blood pressure…
And I saw my grandmother…
And my son Elias…
…and for the most part, my life has been pretty damn good.
Please share the story of Uganda and World Vision with a friend…
