pastor ed’s quote of this year

By September 22, 2009Blog

In a debate about adultery on ABC’s Nightline, the cool, testosterone-and-spirit-filled Pastor Ed Young had this to say:

“I agree Noel… “

Stop right there: FYI–Noel was there for the debate, too, and apparently he/she LOVES adultery more than anything in the world.

“Life is short, have an affair.”

Then Pastor Ed stopped for a moment and then added: “But I would add three words: with, your, spouse.”

Oh dear God in Heaven, blessed be your name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done. …

Yes, I get his quote. I’m sorry, but Pastor Ed is creepy–like an older uncle who wears nothing under his bathrobe.

Anyway, that wasn’t his best quote. Later, Pastor Ed’s best line was this one:

“Sure, adultery has its kicks but it has wicked, Chuck Norris-like kickbacks.”

He forgot to add three words: wah wah wah

Viagra is for the treatment of inability to get or keep an erection and similar states when hard-on is of low quality. When you buy remedies like cialis from canada you should know about cialis online canada. It may have a lot of brands, but only one ATC Code. Erectile dysfunction, defined as the persistent impossibility to maintain a satisfactory hard-on, affects an estimated 15 to 30 millions men in the America alone. Sexual health is an substantial part of a man’s life, no problem his age etc.

ps. kelley, i was thinking the same thing! nobodys teeth look that good!

pps. hey mpt, this may have been discussed before i became a devoted reader, but, do you think ed reads this? not that you care, or would change your wording if you thought he did, i was just wondering if you knew. because it would MAD funny if he did. 🙂

Okay so were you at the taping of the debate? Because I was and sure things out of context sound odd but in context they completely make sense. Im sure when the 30 min. debate airs this thursday it will not do it justice since it was in reality a 2 hour debate. I attend Fellowship Church and Ed’s messages have truly had a huge impact in my life. It’s sad that you take things out of context and try to make fun of them. To each their own. It may not be the type of church or sermon you prefer but does that make it wrong?

  • @a fool full of tired grace:

Hey! I have no reason to believe that Ed reads my blog. But that could be interesting… 🙂
