I interviewed Jennifer Knapp back in 2002 for CCM magazine. Other than my interview with Amy Grant, my time with Jennifer was perhaps my favorite moment while working at the editor. I love Jennifer’s music, but more than that, I love her guts, spirit, and willingness to put herself into her music.

I set a google alert for her a few weeks ago because I’d been listening to Kansas & feeling a bit nostalgic. The very next day there was talk of her updating her website & playing a show in my backyard! (ok, an hour from my backyard, but that’s closer than Nashville!)
I bought my ticket today for the Hotel Cafe show next Thursday. Safe to say, I’m giddy.
