    Oh Goodness…That’s REALLY bad!

  • Linnea says:

I want to know what the makers of these movies are thinking while in the process of production. Do they realize at some point how ridiculous and corny and pointless their “film” is and just think “Well, we’ve already spent all this money, and it’s fifty bucks I’ll never see again, so dang it, I WILL finish this!!”? I hope so. That’s more of a justification to do this than actually thinking it’s good and that it’ll somehow touch people way deep down inside.
    Thanks for the laugh Matthew!!

  • gitz says:

    wha?!?!?!

I totally lost it at the beach spinning scene.

And, just as a side note… isn’t the trailer supposed to “peak your interest” not spell out the entire movie for you?

  • Diane says:

    As my husband just said..

    What the crap?!

  • Hey Gitz… exactly what was spelled out for you in that trailer?

You seeing the end of the movie again? Is the kid in the wheelchair “George”?

  • that was 3 and a half minutes that made my entire day.

    Thank you MPT, lol.

i think i want to cry. actually… i’m so far beyond being frustrated by this type of thing, i’m in uncharted emotional territory. all i can do is sit and stare.

  • supersimbo says:

    God Almighty!! this is shocking

  • Kelly says:

Is it just me or did God and Satan have the same voice, and what was with the CD that fell out of the sky? Surely God is down with MP3’s by now.

  • this was a joke, right? Right?? this is NOT an actual movie in production??!?

dear god, make this movie a bird… so it can fly, far far far away…

  • Jared says:

Is God the Jamaican guy that used to do the 7-Up commercials?

  • Susan Isaacs says:

PS What possible google search criteria dredged this up?

  • Cliff says:

    O…M…G…WTF-FTW!!

This must be by the grandson of the producer of the Thief in the Night series…

  • Amanda C. says:

Wait… seriously? that has to be a joke, there’s NO WAY that anyone would make that a legit movie!

  • lisa samson says:

I can’t believe I googled this. Here’s the story synopsis from the website. The writer in me wants to offer to edit it for them.

“A 7 year old boy’s dream is to be one of the best riders in the Daytona Bike Week. (The biggest annual worldwide motorbike event, attracting up to 1 Million bikers) Johnny’s problem is he was born blind and crippled. Rejected by his father who never wanted him to be born and left Johnny and his mother homeless. Johnny pursued his dream, and through his faith and God and belief in himself, Johnny became miraculously healed and fulfilled his dream. As a 21 year old, Johnny surrendered and committed his life to God. God gave Johnny the 10 Commandments in the form of CDs to take to the world.”

We only need the death of a beloved medium-sized pound dog with massive cataracts to make it complete!

I’m sure there’s some well-meaning brothers and sisters behind this, but, um …

How did the church go from Dante and Michaelangelo to this?

  • marsandle says:

OH MY GOSH!!! God throws out CDs now….?!

  • oh good grief, so much for excellence for God. But at least they made a movie – something I only dream about. But they could have done way better with the story and the acting to have given it some credibility.

  • Wouldn’t God send us a subscription to His podcast or something? I thought He would be a little more technologically advanced than that. Guess he really liked the late 90s.

  • Chris says:

There is only one word that describes that film and that word is RAD. As always a smile has been brought to my face. God bless you, Matthew Turner, God bless you.

  • Jen says:

    *blink…. STARE……blink*

I got 1.23 minutes into it. I COULD NOT watch any more. Holy crap that was… crap.

  • Jen says:

I just posted this to my facebook, and the little blurb thing it gave was ‘This is the trailer for the highly anticipated Christian movie “The Bike King and the Ten Commandments”‘

Wow. “highly anticipated”. Talk about failing to live up to the hype.

  • I just looked them up. They are serious!

Just because you can do something, doesn’t necessarily mean you should do it. Just because you can turn on a video camera, doesn’t mean you should make a video. To inflict the world with some so pathetic only brings unnecessary ridicule upon the church.

Leave the movie making to people with the talent and skills that are necessary to produce something that will be engaging and of a quality that honours God.

  • I think it’s nice when home-schooled ten year olds borrow their mom’s video cameras and make movies for the rest of us to enjoy. Good for them for trying.

    🙂

  • The Mum’s “acting” cracked me up and the kids take on “I just want to die” was well – crap!

I’d definately give this a razzie award! xo.

i love that the Ten Commandments are handed down to the “pretty boy” in DVDROM form for easy dispersement to the interwebs. i guess biblegateway.com was down or something. why do people continue to put this crap out. it makes me sad.

  • RDA says:

Wow…there is 3:47 minutes of my life I will never get back again!

  • Adam says:
