    What I love about this song is how it can make both Christians and non-Christians pause and think about their beliefs.

    I thought that the line, “We’re all laughing with God” is like when little kids are making fun of somebody and they try to cover up by saying, “Oh, we weren’t laughing AT you, we were laughing WITH you” like, “Oh God, I wasn’t laughing AT you, but now that I’m scared and I need your help, I’m laughing WITH you.”

    I think that last line is fitting because I think this song comments on how to some people God is a joke unless things get bad. And it reminds me of that old saying, “There are no atheists in foxholes.” Just my take…
