I have to comment on the photo of David. As an art museum professional, I’ve dealt with numerous parents–all from fundamentalist churches– who gripe and write letters to school officials about our occasional nude sculptures and paintings. How sad that so many children are deprived of the beauty of art such as David, because their parents somehow try to stir in their weird brand of religion.
@Amy: I COMPLETELY AGREE! I hope it was obvious that my “edit” was for the sake of humor.
And I often wonder what messages are we sending to children with this kind of “editing”? Very sad.
