Matthew, your support of other authors is inspiring. No…wait, that’s not the right word. Heartwarming? Ugh…that sounds sort of lame, too. Get together with your other author friends and pick an inspiring, heartwarming word for the compliment I’m trying to give you.

You get my point, though… it’s nice.

It’s too bad Christianity hasn’t embraced that karma notion, because you would also have some of that coming your way. I suppose we can say that you’re storing up treasures in heaven where your books are now bound to sell like hotcakes.

(They have hotcakes, right? I’m not going to have to learn a whole new set of cliches when I get there, am I?)

  • so was susan, “Susan”?

    snickering over snarky-I love snarky..

  • @Terroni: Christian Kharma?!? Isn’t that a Buddhist teaching? Or is it Oprah? I forget.

I love helping other authors get the word out about their books. It’s a small way that I am able to give back to my trade.

And btw, that comment was WAY too nice. Did you get saved or something?

  • Reed Benson says:

I thought karma was Hindu before it was Buddhist. I dunno. I just know that grace travels outside of karma. That’s what Bono told me.

  • Terroni says:

    Yes, yes I did.
    White as the freakin’ snow.

And that is why I’m not even going to comment on your crush on Kelly Clarkson. He saved a wretch like me from the need to mock your taste in music.

    Amen, Brother Terroni, amen.

Oh, and I’ve got an unspoken prayer request.
