By December 3, 2008Blog

Stapp and co. are in talks about a 2009 comeback tour!

Will you let Creed take you ‘higher’ once again?

My husband took me to a Creed concert for my birthday a few years back and I loved it.

Not sure if it would be the same…

oh boy, how out of it am I.. I didn’t even know they were gone.. I need to get out more!

  • resurrection? yeah cause scott stapp needs more jesus-like undertones…

  • Diane says:

They were my favorite back in the day… I’d love to see them back together…

No thanks. Stapp pretty much fell apart on his own and I think some folk, myself included, are just not interested. RIP, Creed; please. We have Nickelbakc for our spiritual overtones and even that is getting a bit tiresome.

I would be happy to see Creed back together.

    C!

nope. Stapp acted like the back end of a horse since the bands split. I wouldnt want a single penny to go to him or his giant ego.

I’ll welcome a Creed reunion. I haven’t been creeped out in a while.

  • No what anyone may think of the band and their anctics, or Stapp’s personal flaws -you still cannot get away from one undeniable truth : They are incredibly TALENTED. insanely talented.

Definitely in my top 3 all time bands. Hands down.

eeehhh…I don’t know. I recently checked out his solo album on itunes and they may sound quite dated. I was a fan, but we’ll see. They definitely rocked it for a while.

  • Yikes. As a teenager in the ’90s, I was initially sucked into the Creed phenomenon. Can’t say I’m too excited now, though.

Oh and I don’t know if you do the Facebook thing, but there’s something going around where you change your status to a random quote in a book. Mine happened to fall on this quote: “Sure, you’re vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning out other people’s poop stains from toilets…” The closest book to me was The Christian Culture Survival Guide. Thought that was pretty funny, if off topic.

I have never ever liked that band…some have commented about their immense talent, but I personally disagree. I tried-really tried-to like them, but I just don’t. For me, it’s not even a matter of preferance despite talent. Like, I don’t care for DMB’s sound, but I think they are hugely talented and skilled.

For Creed, I neither care for their sound nor do I think they are talented. I’m not at all interested in a comeback. To those who like Creed and have been positively impacted by their music, my sincerest apologies. I totally respect your preferance. It’s just my personal feelings about them.

Lets hope not. Creed, aside from being a corny ripoff of Pearl Jam, wasn’t very good. Elementary school kids could write better songs than them. Simply put, the world is a much better place without Creed stinking up the airwaves.
