    No one likes a hater…
I havent read the book yet, because I have to buy it online (I live in Dominican Republic) but his review didnt really explain why he disliked it, I mean COME ON if you are going to say you dont like it GIVE A BETTER REASON!!! I’m sure it is wonderful (based on reading a little part of it and all the great comments and good reviews), and I cant wait until I have a chance to order it and read it!!!!

I’m probably one of a handful who hasn’t read the book yet; but, if my past reactions to your books are reliable indicators, I’m sure I’ll enjoy the “lukwarm” humor in this one, too. Good “luke” with the future reviewers… (Sorry, Brian. I just couldn’t resist.)

    ;^)

I would call him a hater, more like a disliker.

As Keith Olbermann says about those who don’t fancy you, “Don’t take it personally when they say ‘no’ – they may not be smart enough to say ‘yes.'”

(I got that off the back of a Starbucks cup.)

  • @ Terroni: Good call. I wasn’t offended at all. Bad reviews don’t bother me anymore. They used to, back when I first started writing. But not too much anymore. How are you doing?

  • Terroni says:

    I’m doing okay.

It’s residency interview scheduling time. So far… Cornell, NYU, Columbia, Mt. Sinai, University of Michigan, UVA, Wake Forest, University of Colorado.

I’m lucky. Those are some of the best anesthesia programs in the world. I’m excited, but also a little uneasy. It’s a little hard not knowing where I’m going to be in a year. NYC is looking like a good possibility, but we’ll see what happens.

In other news, I’m reading Watchmen Nee and listening to this guy named Jason Henderson from Market Street Fellowship. (Google it.) It is the gospel like you’ve never heard it before, and it will blow your fucking mind.

Oh, and I haven’t gotten to your book quite yet. But, I will. And when I do, I promise I’ll give you rave reviews. Even if I have to get totally drunk to write them.

That’s my commitment to you. Because we’re (the internet version of) friends.

In all seriousness, congratulations on the success of your work. I am very happy for you.

I’ve read your book, and I loved it! It reminded me of my growing up days with the “hellfire and brimstone” preaching at my first church.
