Ah, this is really exciting! I don’t think I have won anything in my life, and I won a book on your wife’s blog and now yours! I love love love books…so this is an exciting addition to my library. Thank you :]

PS – I feel really silly, but I’m not sure where to find your e-mail address…it’s probably right in front of my face…

Wow – the same person won both books (thought there was going to be 2 drawings)! God works in wonderous ways!

I would just like to point out that in your post from August 21, from whence this contest was born, you made a serious theological error:

Velma, from Scooby-Doo, was not known for saying “jeepers”, although I can imagine her saying it from time-to time, she was famous for saying “JINKIES”!

Just thinking about it brings the memories flooding back. I loved her so, in her knee socks, big baggy skirt, turtleneck sweater and glasses. She would have to wear a burka to show any less flesh.

I know I missed my chance to win a book, but I would like to offer a plug for Ronald Rolheiser’s brilliant book “The Holy Longing”.

    Crap. I never win anything.

  • Sara says:

Now, if it was a free copy of “Churched” I would have fought harder for it…

    🙂
