my month of may…

By June 1, 2008Blog

I’m happy to see May come to an end. For a lot of reasons, May 2008 was not a good month for me. I made a lot of mistakes. I was depressed. I got hurt a good bit. I was humbled on more than a couple of occasions. I was very busy. I lost a few things that meant a good deal to me. I discovered stuff about myself that I’m not very fond of. I disappointed a number of people.

Yep, May was pretty blah. However, amongst the pain and frustrations, I did encounter glimmers of hope. People who God has put on my path who showed me a kind of light and grace that I have rarely experienced in tangible form. I am so thankful to the following people for helping me on my journey through my month of May.

My wife showed me patience and grace that I still don’t understand.

Pete listened to my story without judgment. He didn’t give me an action plan, just offered his shoulder.

My friend Matt proved to me that there are some very gracious and caring Baptists in this world.

Even amidst her own pain, Angie prayed for me.

Jennifer gave me permission to be angry.

Adam was just there. Online. Over g-chat. But nonetheless, there.

And Stephen had coffee with me, just to get me out of the house.

Oh, May still sucked. Big time. But it was made a little easier and I am becoming more comfortable in my own skin because of those people. Thank you.

I believe June will be a little better. If only for the following very shallow reasons…

1) A new David Sedaris book comes out on Tuesday: When You Are Engulfed In Flames

2) Alanis releases Flavors of Entanglement.

3) One word. Or actually two words that have been put together to create one word: Coldplay. The band of Brits has a new album coming out in a couple weeks. I can’t wait.

Here’s to a healthier June…

Viagra is for the treatment of inability to get or keep an erection and similar states when hard-on is of low quality. When you buy remedies like cialis from canada you should know about cialis online canada. It may have a lot of brands, but only one ATC Code. Erectile dysfunction, defined as the persistent impossibility to maintain a satisfactory erection, affects an estimated 15 to 30 millions men in the America alone. Sexual health is an substantial part of a man’s life, no question his age etc.
