THE GOD DEBATE

By May 9, 2007Blog

If you’re interested, go to ABCNews.com, the debate between Kirk Cameron and crew vs. the atheists has been posted. It wasn’t pretty for the Christians, as they attempted to prove that God existed scientifically without ANY scientific evidence. And furthermore, Ray Comfort used most of his allotted time to offer everyone listening the plan of salvation. Again, not science.

Wow. It was rough.

Faith isn’t meant to be proven with science. If this were true; why would we need faith?

The ENTIRE segment will be aired tonight on Nightline.

Here’s a snippet from the atheists’ point of view: [There’s a couple f-bombs dropped at the beginning of this.] But you’ll at least get a feel for what went down:

Viagra is for the treatment of inability to get or keep an erection and similar states when erection is of low quality. When you buy remedies like cialis from canada you should know about cialis online canada. It may have a lot of brands, but only one ATC Code. Erectile dysfunction, defined as the persistent impossibility to maintain a satisfactory erection, affects an estimated 15 to 30 millions men in the America alone. Sexual health is an substantial part of a man’s life, no problem his age etc.

Yea that was bad. I don’t know who was in charge of arranging that debate but they did a bad job of choosing the Christian representatives(nothing against Ray and Kirk). They have some smart Christians out there-Ravi Zacharius, Norman Geisler, William Lane Craig. I also think talking about Jesus is a better apologetics issue. An atheist can say the gospels are not reliable but when you really look at early church history along with the accounts of the bible, Jesus is really an intriging issue and I think it’s more convincing than anything of the truthfulness of Christianity.
