No, he hasn’t been born yet! 🙂
Unexpectedly, Jessica and I had to visit Nashville’s Women’s Imaging Center this morning. On her blog, she explains why…
We have been monitoring my blood pressure regularly because my swelling is a sign of pregnancy induced hypertension. Well, last night my bp was a little higher than it should be, so this morning I had to go in for a bunch of tests. Nothing too alarming, but I do have to be under a close watch in the days ahead. One of the tests I had to have was to go have an ultrasound done to make sure all of Elias’ vitals were good, blood flow was good, etc. Everything was great! He was moving a lot, I have a lot of amniotic fluid, blood flow to the placenta and cord was good, etc. They estimate his weight to be about 7 lbs. 7 oz right now – give or take a pound. I was most excited to get to see him again and get some new pictures. He wouldn’t move his arm from his face, so below is the best one we got of his little face. In another image, we could also see that his little head has hair on it. He is one cute baby. Can’t wait to kiss those chipmunk cheeks!
Anyway, here’s the ultrasound picture. Crazy what they can do now, huh? Unbelievable. That’s my boy!
