Pat Robertson on Petraeus affair: ‘She’s a good-looking woman… he’s a man’

By November 13, 2012Blog

Viagra is for the treatment of inability to get or keep an erection and similar states when hard-on is of low quality. When you buy remedies like cialis from canada you should know about cialis online canada. It may have a lot of brands, but only one ATC Code. Erectile dysfunction, defined as the persistent impossibility to maintain a satisfactory erection, affects an estimated 15 to 30 millions men in the America alone. Sexual health is an substantial part of a man’s life, no problem his age etc.

  • M. Parks says:

So – it’s the woman’s fault, because she “threw herself” at a helpless man. How can we expect a man not to give into the temptation of a good-looking woman?
    That’s disgusting.

  • If I was in a foreign country and Pat Robertson was throwing himself at me, I don’t think I could resist either.

  • Dianna says:

Something tells me he wouldn’t say this if it was a high powered woman who had cheated on her husband in the same manner.

  • John Dobbs says:

Definition of PROPINQUITY: nearness of blood : kinship; nearness in place or time : proximity.
    Never heard that one before.

Well, what to do with the General. Is he a Christian? I don’t know. If he is not, then why expect regenerate behavior from the unregenerate? Does anyone believe that all these senators and congressmen and everyone else in Washington D.C. is faithful to their wife/husband? The WhiteHouse has been besmirched with adultery (more than once; though not this administration). So, outside a certain self-directed moral sense of being a person of one’s word, what does anyone expect? Does that make it right or good? No. But surprising? absolutely not. Robertson is right. (I hate to say that out loud.)

  • Karen Rice says:

I fail to see why this dude having an affair is such a big deal…it’s not like Washington DC is a hotbed of morality…quite the opposite. This guy had to resign because of an affair? Please give me a break.
And why should Pat Robertson even comment on it?!

  • Bob Chapman says:

Remember that Pat Robinson knows something about this matter. When he ran for president, it was discovered that the date he gave for his wedding was 6 months earlier than what it was. The earlier date kept his first child’s birth later than 9 months after the wedding.
It is good that the Robertson’s made this marriage work. Usually a shotgun marriage doesn’t work. I give him credit for that.

  • Blake says:

It’s good to know that if I’m in another country and lonely and a good looking woman throws herself at me, it’s OK to have an affair. After all, I’m a man.
Now I just need Pat to explain this concept to my wife. I’m sure she would go for it once she understood it all from his POV.

  • Jeni says:

While I agree that MANY politicians have affairs and it’s often overlooked, military code of conduct is MUCH different and more strict than civilian law. So a General and a politician having affairs is comparing apples to oranges in terms of why it matters. I’m not saying that either is ok, moral, or what have you, just pointing out why it’s a “big deal”.

  • Brad says:

He really is the gift that just keeps on giving, isn’t he?

  • Leanne says:

It really sounds like he is trying to justify the affair which keeps him in the old, entitled, rich man’s club in my books….

  • Kevin says:

Not to defend Pat Robertson, but it seemed that this video cut out mid speech. Could he be taken out of context?

  • Libbyme says:

Pat Robertson needs to step down from that program! He once had a great voice for Christians but then something happened and his comments became bizarre. I cringe whenever I see something that says “Pat Robertson’s thoughts on such and such”!
Yes Patreous is a man…but he’s in a position of leadership and so forth. He should have known better and not put himself in those situations. I’ve also read somewhere that a conspiracy was made to bring him down. These days one doesn’t know what to believe in what they read! BUT Biblically this was wrong, it is evil and it’s sin! I don’t know where these folks are spiritually…but it’s wrong any way one looks at it. IF my husband was put in the position of an affair….and he’s not military….as a Christian he’d have a process to go through to get healing etc. The hippocritical society that flaunts living together, illicit sex and more make this to be so scandelous is laughable in some ways. These same men who lie, cheat and whatever else are calling the kettle black!!

  • Gag me with a spoon (just to remind you how OLD I AM). Snicker, snicker – heh, heh, boys will be boys and all. What.A.Crock.

  • Tricia Powe says:

I felt he stated the reason the General gave in to man’s oldest temptation, but clearly did not say it was acceptable. One man or woman’s sin is not greater or less than another – sin is sin and separates imperfect human beings from the perfect, holy God. The type of sin is what varies. Jesus died to pay the price for all sin whether it is a lie or rape or murder or adultery and everything between. It has nothing to do with rich or poor. It is a character issue. . . plain and simple.

What the what?! Thanks for giving all the horny men in America and the world over a free pass, Pat! You have just validated the, ‘I’m a man, I can’t help it!” Excuse for untold billions of men who will soon be banished from the bedroom and onto the lumpy couch. Nice job, hot shot!
And don’t even get me started on the reduction of women from capable, thinking, independently strong women, to the status of mere sex toys.

Thanks for rolling back the clock a century or so, Pat! It’s like “Back to the Future,” except that it’s stupid!
