I went over to eat at my sister’s and was hoping that when I returned, he would be here! Geeeze, I’m sure you all are hoping the same, lol. As a lurker on both your blogs, as well as Angie’s, I have been praying all day, eagerly anticipating the announcement of Eli’s arrival…you will continue to be in my prayers…Thank you for sharing!
I’ve been checking on you guys all day. I know you already know this, but all this is going to be worth it. I bet you can’t wait to get some sleep after this…
Jess and Matthew… we love you guys so much. I keep coming to the computer and checking for updates as I scrapbook.. thinking about Jess… Praying for you guys… Praying for Elias… Can’t wait to have our session once he arrives!!! I keep checking back! Give Jess my love… Praying for her headache and her health. xo Amber & Josh ulmer
I’m a lurker on both of your blogs and Angies (arrived here from there) and enjoy reading them. Thinking of you from over here in New Zealand heres hoping positive thoughts from across the water helps. Wishing you all the best. Nicki
You all are so lovable and funny! It makes the blogging experience even better “seeing” and hearing you guys. Thanks for keeping us updated. I’ve been checking in all day, so Jessica has been on my mind. Sending prayers your way for a fast and healthy birth. I hope everyone can get some rest soon!
Your about to get one of “those” Matthew! Congrats 🙂
It is really cool how God has used Angie & her blog to bring so many people to being praying for you & Jessica. Thanks for the video updates…love the laughter 🙂 Continuing to pray..and looking for good news really soon…
I also add my prayers and hugs for strength throughout. Sometimes labors can really drag on…remember, one contraction at at time. And what everyone says about it being all worth it is true.
PS Noticed the Pink Floyd T. Would I really be dating myself if I said I heard them back in the day when I was a teenager?
Let me just reaffirm your statement…you WILL actually leave with one of those tiny things! Mark and I were amazed that they willingly let us leave the hospital with Reid. We kept asking ourselves, “…isn’t there some mini course to run through or pep talk?!” Neither happened, and we felt like complete idiots when we had to ask the nurse to strap our newborn child into his car seat (guess we should have read the instructions?!)
So excited for y’all, and love that it’s being captured on the blog :o)

…oh, hey Angie!! Watching y’all was a similar dynamic to a morning talk show. Think about that…another looming career?!
Ok, seriously… I’m really loving the video blog thing. Let me just say this: I came to check on you all because I’m getting a little tired and was trying to decide whether or not to go to bed… and realized you all haven’t slept in how long? And Jessica hasn’t eaten in how long? While dealing with a killer migraine?
That woman has some crazy stamina she’s passing on to your babe! Still sending prayers…
LOVE seeing the smiles & laughter, and praying for a healthy Elias to come soon so everyone can get some much needed rest and Jessica can finally eat once again. Thanks for keeping everyone updated, and know my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Philippians 4:13
I keep checking back to see if he’s been born… but alas you are silent. I only hope you guys are oohing and aahing over your miracle and that I’ll see his face in the morning! Good night and I hope you guys can get some rest!!!
With no word in the last hour or so, maybe that means things are chugging along? Praying for Jessica, Matthew, Angie and baby Elias! Angie, it’s good to see you laughing…
Saw the update on Angie’s blog at 12 am (EST??) that Jessica had an epidural and is feeling a bit better. It’s 10:09 pm here in California and am praying for you all!!! Can’t wait to hear that Elias has arrived safely 🙂
