The Today Show interviewd Eric Volz’s mother this morning. Gosh, I cannot imagine what it must be like knowing that your son has been thrown into a Nicaraguan prison for 30 years for a murder he didn’t commit [10 eyewitnesses say so]. She feels helpless, at least, from a human standpoint.
Who can blame her? I would feel hopeless, too.
It’s funny how easily I become frustrated with God about what is happening in my own story. I give up quickly. And I have nowhere near experienced what this dear family is experiencing at this time.
Think about Eric’s story–watch the video of his story here–with all that he has endured since December, I’m sure he’s never really had a chance to process the death of his ex-girlfriend.
