John Edwards may need to take this a step further. If I remember correctly another Jon Edwards said that we were “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God”. So to limit Christ to a sense of shock and disappointment is incomplete. I believe the self-seeking nature of America grieves His Spirit. And it is a great tragedy to see the plight of “the least among us” become the platform for the Left and not the heart beat of God’s people. I pray we see change.
