According to USA Today, a whole bunch of people are dropping evangelicalism like it’s hot and deciding on a more traditional approach to worshiping God: The Orthodox Church.
I’m not sure if it’s a trend or not, but I do know that about six months ago, my friend Lisa ditched worshiping God with the chords of G, C, and D, and opted to go Greek Orthodox!
And just in case you’re from the state of Mississippi, please make note that you don’t have to live in Greece to be Greek Orthodox. And no, it doesn’t make one a communist.

When I’m tempted to resign, Jesus insists that He needs me in His PR department.
I’m not really that qualified. Never got invited into an organization like THIS ONE before…no other place is quite like it!
But He took me on when no one else would. He gave me a chance when I was nothing more than dead weight with a lot to learn.
So I sort of feel like I owe it to Him to just do the best I can in my efforts to represent Him well. The only PR Jesus needs is the PR HE creates.

Actually, I don’t believe in over-explaining. Besides, non-Christians probably understand the name of this blog better than most Christians. And too, the book is coming out in August–it will explain it all…
