The latest retail distributor to put the Bible under the “Fiction” category is Costco. Remember when Borders did it? Remember Borders? Five years ago they were a pretty big deal.
Anyway, it was a California pastor who brought Costco’s sins to light last week via Twitter.
But thankfully, Fox News has saved the day…
The retail giant issued to Fox an official apology which included…
“We deeply regret the mislabeling of the Bible and meant no offense to anyone… The buyer has let us know that this was an error and the books are being pulled off the shelves to be re-marked.”
And the pastor’s response?! He accepted the apology.
I believe Costco when they said it was an error. Hopefully God uses this topic to spark conversations on faith & His Word. I'm sure He will
